Small Businesses that Move the World

From lockdowns to labor shortages, small businesses have had it rough lately. That’s why we want to highlight and celebrate the small and medium-sized lumber mills and pallet manufacturers in our vendor network that have overcome and remained resilient.

pallet vendors teaming up

Rose Pallet is successful, in large part, because of our preferred vendor network. In addition to our own manufacturing plants, we also have strong relationships with quality, vetted co-manufactures and lumber mills in local communities across the nation. These owner-operated businesses work extremely hard to do the tough job of constructing pallets.

Even when faced with record-high demands and material shortages, the men and women in our network have overcome market challenges to meet many of our supply needs. We’re so grateful for their tenacity and for the opportunity to partner with likeminded people. After all, small businesses understand the struggles and successes of other small businesses. It is through unwavering mutual support that we help each other grow and improve.

For example, we rely on our network to help us source material and fulfill orders. And they can count on us to promote their product and provide them with larger orders, oftentimes in new markets. This, in turn, helps them gain visibility, build capacity, and increase efficiencies.

There’s no doubt that this year has been a struggle for all of us in one way or another. But it’s also been an exciting time watching the pallet market grow steadily. Even as more warehouses and DCs shift to robotics and AI, the humble pallet still serves a critical part in the process. And that means our business and our network has a strong foundation on which to build, grow, and ultimately—move the world’s economy.
